Health and fitness is about way more than exercise...

I’ve been a coach in the health & fitness space for almost a decade and have been part of this gym for over five years.

My love for movement goes back as far as I can remember. From playing every sport I could find to climbing everything in sight, I’ve always been fascinated by what the human body is physically capable of.

That curiosity has shaped not only how I train, but how I coach as well. Rather than specializing in just one aspect of fitness, I believe in developing the full ecosystem of fitness. I believe in being strong, mobile, balanced, agile, coordinated, conditioned, and mindful in movement, and I believe everyone is capable of improving each of these with the right systems. My goal is to help people become capable in every aspect while discovering how those lessons build confidence, resilience, and carry over into everyday life.

At Ryzing Fitness, my passion is mainly focused on three areas:

  1. As Director of Youth Athletics, I’m committed to helping young athletes perform at a high level while developing healthy habits, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement. I also believe parents play an essential role in that journey, and should be provided with the tools and education to support their athletes both on and off the field.
  2. As a HeroFit coach, I love creating an alternative path to fitness for those looking for something beyond the traditional gym experience. Through games, challenges, storytelling, obstacle training, and functional movement, clients embark on a journey of self-mastery that builds not only physical capabilities, but confidence, resilience, and purpose.
  3. As often as I can I like to host community events and workshops. Whether it’s hosting a charity event, obstacle course, fitness workshop, or life coaching workshop, I believe these events have the power to bring people together. My goal is to create experiences that are fun, meaningful, and leave people with the practical lessons they can carry into all areas of life.

To me, health and fitness is about way more than exercise. It’s a powerful vehicle for knowing ourselves, mastering ourselves, and becoming more capable for whatever life asks of us.
